Reservation Letter

A letter of reservation should be brief and definite.  It should specify the number of reservation wanted, the location or position preferred, the date or dates of the reservations, and the price or rates.

Example of Room Reservation Letter

To Whom It May Concern:

Won’t you please reserve for me a moderately priced room, with a double bed and bath at your hotel for April 22 – 27 inclusive.  I shall appreciate your confirming this reservation and indicating your rate.

Example of  Deck Reservation Letter

To Whom It May Concern:

Please reserve for Mr. and Mrs. Emerson M. Navarro a deluxe cabin on “A” deck on your M.V. Carmela sailing from Manila to Palawan, Saturday, afternoon, January 12.
