Sample Complaint Employment Dismissal Letter

September 3, 2022

Dear Sir:
Good day!
This letter is to raise a formal grievances concerning my dismissal last September 1, 2022.
It concerns with the decision of the Dean of Education Department of terminating me by not giving me any teaching loads without valid reason and written notice. She just told me that there is no available teaching loads for me.

I believe that this termination is very personal since there is no termination letter presented to me from the school. In addition, they just told me at the start of classes. As for rules, the employer should be given at least one month notice before the termination in order for the employee to be ready and look for another jobs.

May I request your office for fair investigation of this matter? Also I would like to demand for claims for illegal dismissal, full back wages, moral damages, and exemplary damages.

Sincerely yours,

Ednalyn Rodriguez
Education Department Faculty Members

Sample Appeal Letter for Job Termination

September 30, 2021

Mr. Raul Manansala
Campus Director, PSU

Dear Sir;

I am writing regarding the recent decision of the Head of College Department of not giving me teaching loads. It only inform me last September 1, 2021 verbally that I was terminated without any valid reasons and legally informing the employee one month before dismissal.

I have been a loyal employee of PSU for 24 years and in that time no complaints formal and informal had been made about my work before the date of my dismissal. In fact, I already finished the academics requirement of Master of Education at Sierra Madre University earning 42 units without financial support from the school.

The action made by the head is very stressful in my part since I am the breadwinner of the family. He offered me part time and contract of service but revoked at the same time and told me that I have no future in the PSU and look for another opportunities. He even asked me to submit a resignation letter which is illegal and a form of harassment.

In this case, I would like to demand for claims for illegal dismissal, full back wages, moral damages, and exemplary damages. It causes us so much stress since I have a son who need therapy and pandemic is not over. My family suffers from depression because of such action. I hope for your kind consideration regarding this matter.

Sincerely yours,

Cedric Feliciano
faculty, PSU
