Dear Dr. Mathay:
The Metro Manila Chapter of the PMA is having its annual convention on June 3-5, 1980. We should like very much to have you as our guest speaker.
Our members have expressed a particular interest in hearing a lively talk on “Modern Surgical Techniques.” We are especially interested in having each one hear something on what advice we can offer our patients. Our program calls for a two-hour presentation from the speaker; but you may take a little more or a little less time, as you wish Probably you know that this convention is the highlight of our year’s meeting and while it has a serious purpose, it is usually on the “lighter” side. Several of us enjoyed your very interesting article in the January issue of the PMA Journal. In fact, you can build your speech along the very same lines, if you wish. I hope you can accept this invitation. If you can, I will write you again giving you all the details – time, place, and complete plans.
