This letter is to explain the late payment being reported on my credit report.

For the last 2 months, my husband had been hospitalized which put him on a short-term disability.  When that happened our income was decreased by $1400 a month and we got behind on some of our payments.

Since August, my husband has been back to work and we have been able to pay our bills on time. Before my husband’s accident we had always paid our bills on time and were only late due to a situation beyond our control,

We are responsible and pay our bill on time.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explain and to own our own home.

I am deeply sorry for the delayed of our rental monthly payment in the amount of Php7000.  I tried everything to meet our necessary expenditures but our business and most of our clients were affected tremendously by the recent typhoon.

In this case, I would like to ask if you could extend the time to pay our rental fee.  During three years, we have showed that we are a good payer; this one is a rare incident.
