Dear Engr. Makiling

We are pleased to inform you that the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) will be holding its 1st PSME National Mechanical Engineering Educators Congress on June 7 & 8, 2012 at Philippine Columbian Association, Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila with the theme “Strengthening the Mechanical Engineering Education through Sustainable Collaboration and Networking of Mechanical Engineering Educators”.

The 1st PSME National Mechanical Engineering Educators Congress will provide a platform for the exchange of information, experience and discussion on mechanical engineering research and education – and its role in the other engineering disciplines. This Congress will be an excellent venue for scientists, researchers, engineers and academicians to interact and exchange relevant information on mechanical engineering research and development. The scope of the Congress will include discussions on the following issues: mechanical engineering education, upgrading mechanical engineering curriculum, laboratories and equipment, professional mechanical engineering licensure examinations for educators, continuing professional education of PSME and sharing of best practices in mechanical engineering education. Through these, the academe will become more dynamic in honing more globally competitive mechanical engineering graduates and consequently, globally competitive professionals.

We are inviting your Mechanical Engineering faculty members to take part in this event. We have attached program details of the Congress.
