The Pilar State University (PSU) is pleased to endorse “Engr. Ricardo D. Pereira” for a 520-hr practicum as a requirement for the degree Master of Engineering major in Engineering Management.
Pilar State University if a member of the five-school consortium under the Philippine Association for Technological Education (PATE), Inc. that offers the Master of Engineering Program with the assistance from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). The Master of Engineering is a non-thesis, practicum-oriented masteral degree program in engineering that requires industry where students are expected to:
- Get hands-on experience on particular training area(s);
- Submit a practicum proposal which includes the abstract of the Special Project to be performed and the job description of the student;
- Undertake a special project to solve a problem in the company upon advise/approval of the company representative for practice purposes;
- Present orally the practicum report to a panel composed of school adviser, company adviser, and practicum coordinator and;
- Submit a technical paper on the Special Project as final output of the practicum.
We shall be most grateful if Engr. Pereira could given priority in your practicum program, considering the mutual benefits that your company and the students will derive from the experience.
